CERMUSA Participates in Greater Johnstown Showcase for Commerce
On May 28 and 29, 2009, CERMUSA participated in the Greater Johnstown Showcase for Commerce, the largest business and industry show and premier defense contracting exhibit in the region.
CERMUSA spotlighted several of their collaborations at this event. The outside exhibit featured Monmouth University's Rapid Response Institute's Joint Mobile Command and Training Center. This vehicle has been outfitted with satellite communications and infrastructure equipment that was recommended by CERMUSA personnel as a result of their research conducted in the creation of the Mobile Communications Platform vehicle.
CERMUSA's inside presentation involved a video teleconference (VTC) with a wounded warrior utilizing the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center's aquatic treadmill. The therapy session, which was conducted at the Center's Johnstown location, was interactive with Congressman John P. Murtha, along with the parents of the soldier, from the floor of the Showcase at the Johnstown War Memorial.
Information was also made available on these other current CERMUSA projects: RF to IP Bridge System, Navy Independent Duty Corpsmen, and PharmCon.
